Florida basketball is set to face in-state rival Miami this evening in Jacksonville.

The No. 10 Gators (2-1) come off a 78-76 win over Florida State, while the Hurricanes (3-0) defeated Stetson 102-61.

Florida and Miami clash for the 72nd time in series history but the first in six years, with the last meeting occurring back in 2019. The Hurricanes are also under the leadership of first-year head coach Jai Lucas, who most recently was an assistant coach at Duke for three seasons.

"They have some really talented players," Florida coach Todd Golden said. "I think there’s some similarities to the way they play and how we play. I think there’s some other things that they do a little differently, but I think it’s going to be a really good matchup on Sunday."
