JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Four people were hospitalized after a shooting broke out during a party in Jacksonville.

Officers from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the incident at 1 a.m. Sunday on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard, where a teen after-party was happening.

Initial investigation revealed a fight escalated into two juveniles and two adults being shot.

Officials said the victims who were injured were running away from the incident when two of them were shot in the leg and side. The other two were grazed, and all of them have non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives canvassed the area for video surveillance and spoke with witnesses, according to a news release.
