Terry Smith’s Penn State team has put together back-to-back impressive performances.

After the Nittany Lions (4-6, 1-6) came within seconds of upsetting No. 2 Indiana two weeks ago, PSU pulled away from Michigan State on Saturday in East Lansing, winning 28-10 to secure the coveted Land Grant Trophy.

During Smith’s four-game run as Penn State’s interim head coach, the Lions are 1-3. But they faced the Hoosiers, No. 1 Ohio State and lost to Iowa in Iowa City by one point.

Penn State faces Nebraska on Saturday at Beaver Stadium. The Lions have opened as 10.5-point favorite on FanDuel. The total is 44.5.

Matt Rhule’s Cornhuskers were on a bye this weekend. Nebraska is 4-3 in Big Ten play, beating Michigan State (38-27), Maryland (34-31), Northwestern (28-21) and UCLA (28-21).
