Senne Lammens has earned coveted praise from the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson for his impressive start at Manchester United.
The Belgian completed an £18million summer move to United from Royal Antwerp to add more quality to their goalkeeping options.
Lammens was on the bench for his first three matches at the club, but has since played in five consecutive fixtures,
United have won three and draw two of those in an unbeaten run that has offered them hope of turning their season around.
Much of their success at the back has come from Lammens who, despite keeping only one clean sheet, is reliable between the sticks.
So much so that all-time managerial great Ferguson has highlighted the 23-year-old as one of their standout performers this season. Alex Ferguson blocked Steve Bruce
