The city of Loveland will target the aviation and aerospace industries with a new incentive program to attract investment and high-paying jobs.

Scott Schorling, business development manager in the city’s economic-development department, said the new program came as a result of inquiries from companies wanting to locate and invest in Loveland.

“Part of the concept came from prospects looking to make jet purchases. They said, ‘in other markets we can get more favorable tax treatment.’ That started the wheels turning so we researched the comparative marketplace,” he said.
