Lady Gaga opened up in a new interview about the mental health struggle she suffered during the filming of the hit movie “A Star Is Born.”
The pop icon revealed that she took lithium while making the Oscar-nominated film with Bradley Cooper in an interview with Rolling Stone. Lithium is a mood stabilizer that is used to treat disorders such as mania, hypo-mania, depression and bipolar disorder, according to the National Health Service in England.
The singer also released the album “Joanne” in 2016 and began a tour in 2017. The tour ran from August 2017 to February 2018, and the intense workload brought about a mental health episode, she told Rolling Stone.
