VALLEY CITY, N.D. — The Barnes County Museum is inviting the community to a celebration of its World War II Heritage City designation. The museum will hold an open house from 5-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, for people to view interpretive panels that will be installed throughout the city in the months to come. The museum’s monthly lecture series at 7 p.m. that day will highlight the local contributions to the WWII victory. Refreshments will be served.

The open house will be a “sneak peek” of what’s to come.
