LODI, Wis. -- An Illinois man died on Saturday following an October crash in the Town of Lodi, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office reported that witnesses told a deputy both vehicles were westbound on Highway 60 when one attempted to pass a line of three to four vehicles. The passing vehicle crashed into another vehicle that was also westbound and attempting to turn south onto Hillestad Road. Both vehicles were later found in the ditch on Highway 60, and one of the vehicles was on its side.
Both drivers were pinned inside their vehicles and were removed and taken to local hospitals.
On Saturday, the sheriff's office was notified that one of the drivers died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
