The New York Yankees already have some injuries in the starting rotation to think about ahead of the 2026 season.
Carlos Rodón, Gerrit Cole, and Clarke Schmidt are all up in the air heading into the beginning of the 2026 season. It would make sense for the Yankees to add at least one starting pitcher this offseason and The Athletic's Jim Bowden had an interesting update. Bowden reported that a reunion with Michael King is a "real possibility."
"If (Trent Grisham) accepts the offer, that could take the Yankees out of either the (Kyle Tucker) or the Cody Bellinger bidding wars," Bowden said.
