STEPHENS CITY — The Love in Action food pantry and clothing boutique in Stephens City has a new home.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the nonprofit's new location at 5187 Main St. was held Friday afternoon and nearly 50 supporters turned out for the celebration.

"I guess I was supposed to prepare a speech, but you know me," pantry Director Latanya Hines said on Friday after cutting a large red ribbon with an oversized pair of scissors. "You're getting real, raw and unscripted."

Love in Action, which serves up to 150 families each month, recently moved its pantry and clothing boutique from the former Love Church at 199 Agape Way near Stephens City because the nondenominational church's sanctuary was sold last year to the Catholic Diocese of Arlington , which uses it as a branch campu
