COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Two people were arrested around midnight Sunday after a police pursuit in Colorado Springs.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Jet Wing Drive regarding a suspect who threatened three people with a gun during an event.

Officers identified the suspect and the suspect vehicle during the investigation.

As the event was ending, police said the suspect was seen getting into the vehicle and firing multiple rounds in a crowded parking lot. No one in this parking lot was hit by the gunfire.

Officers in the area then initiated a pursuit with the suspect, who allegedly refused to stop.
