Three people died early Sunday morning in a crash on the northern edge of Denver’s Montbello neighborhood, police said.

The Denver Police Department first posted about the single-car crash near 56th Avenue and Potomac Way at 12:53 a.m. Sunday. In a 7:48 a.m. update , police said the three people inside the car had died.

That intersection is next to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge .

Additional information about the crash, including the cause, was not immediately available on Sunday.
