NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Texans starting right offensive guard Ed Ingram is out for Sunday’s football game against the Tennessee Titans due to a sprained left knee, triggering a shuffle to the right side of the offensive line.
The Texans are expected to shift Tytus Howard to right guard in his place and have former Pro Bowl lineman Trent Brown start at right tackle for the second week in a row.
Howard is back from a concussion that forced him to miss one game.
Although Ingram returned to practice this week, he was limited and his mobility wasn’t great as he wore a large knee brace and his leg was heavily wrapped.
The Texans are set to start Jarrett Patterson at left guard again next to rookie left tackle Aireontae Ersery and center Jake Andrews.
