LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Several groups came together Saturday for a major community donation drive.
Louisville Metro Police held their first-ever Cram the Cruiser, aimed at helping families in need across Louisville.
Kroger shoppers were able to fill their carts with food and essential items, then handed them off to LMPD officers, who packed every donation directly in their cruisers.
The drive took place at six Kroger stores across the metro, giving everyone a chance to help.
LMPD partnered with LDG Development, The Rita June Foundation, Kroger, and Shirley’s Way to support families in need.
