Adam Peaty's devastated mother Caroline is understood to have discovered an unexpected new supporter during the bitter family row that has broken out ahead of his extravagant Christmas wedding to Holly Ramsay.

The parent of the 30 year old Olympic swimming champion has reportedly found comfort during the poisonous dispute - through a connection with a woman who previously alleged she had conducted an affair with Gordon Ramsay , claims the TV chef vehemently refutes.
