LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - Two people were hospitalized after a crash Saturday, November 15, according to Brookville-Timberlake Volunteer Fire Department.

Firefighters responded at 6:46 p.m. to a two-vehicle, T-bone style crash on the 21000 block of Timberlake Road.

One vehicle was heavily damaged, and a person was trapped, according to firefighters. Firefighters say they were able to remove the person from the vehicle within one minute and 30 seconds.

The cause of the crash and the extent of injuries has not been released.
