In October 2025, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office began investigating a child sexual abuse complaint in Monroe, La. During the investigation, authorities learned that 40-year-old Curtis J. Stevenson, Sr., allegedly forced an underage family member to have sex with him on multiple occasions.
