The Boo Squad Fund, a part of the Anthony Spano Foundation, spent their Sunday morning at Rulli Brothers in Boardman helping to make sure families have Thanksgiving meals.
The meals were distributed in a drive-through fashion, with recipients waiting in line to get a meal delivered to their car window.
The Boo Squad is a volunteer group of kids seven years and older, with the goal of the group to teach children about volunteerism, teamwork and compassion, a news release states.
"Even if you can't donate a meal, maybe you can bring a can of green beans, maybe you could help deliver a meal," Heather Hrina Medvec, founder and director of the mission, said.
