We're told bystanders broke the driver's side window of the vehicle and performed CPR on the male driver until officials arrived.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and was last said to be in critical condition.
While the cause of the crash is under investigation, city officials said it's believed the man may have suffered a medical emergency, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
No one else was injured.
