Srinagar, Nov 16: A specialised Bomb Disposal Squad of the National Security Guard (NSG) on Sunday reached the Nowgam Police Station to conduct a detailed forensic analysis of the blast that killed nine people and injured 32 others on Friday night, officials said.

This marks the first major technical assessment of the site since the explosion, which occurred when a stockpile of seized explosives, recently recovered from a doctor’s terror module, accidentally detonated inside the police station. The blast tore through multiple rooms, caused extensive structural damage, and sent shockwaves across the adjoining residential area.
