The impact of the nearly complete Gordie Howe International Bridge is the topic of Wednesday’s fall lecture series at the National Museum of the Great Lakes.

Stephanie Campeau, associate vice president of stakeholder and community relations for the Windsor‑Detroit Bridge Authority, will present the 7 to 8:30 p.m. presentation on how the bridge will transform the Windsor‑Detroit trade corridor, the museum said in a release.

Ms. Campeau will address the six‑lane span’s highway-to-highway connection, state-of-the-art inspection plazas, and other amenities designed to streamline Canada-U.S. cross‑border traffic, the release said.

The event is free, with an in-person watch party at 1701 Front St. and online viewing options, but registration is required at nmgl.org.
