The days of Vontaze Burfict and Antonio Brown are in the past, but there's never any love lost when the Steelers and Bengals play each other. This time, Jalen Ramsey and Ja'Marr Chase made their mark on the heated AFC North rivalry.
And for his part, Ramsey saw his day end early.
Early in the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 11 game, Chase and Ramsey got into a scuffle between plays. Chase was seen grabbing Ramsey's facemask and exchanging words. When the Bengals faced a fourth down play, Chase and Ramsey again converged. This time, it was Ramsey who grabbed Chase's facemask and appeared to attempt a jab punch with his right hand.
Here's a look at the punch:
Though it wasn't much of a punch, it was enough for Ramsey to get ejected. The two players were called for offsetting unsportsmanlike penalties. But that punch resulted in an additional penalty and first down for the Bengals.
Chase was not ejected for his part in the altercation.
