A close friend of New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd said he's in "good condition" after being shot twice in New York City early Sunday (November 16) morning.
“He’s all good right now. He’s in good condition. He’s doing real good,” said Ernest Quander , who has been Boyd's friend since his collegiate career at the University of Texas, via the New York Post .
“He’s a soldier, through tough times” Quander added. “He’s fine. He’s fine.”
Boyd, 29, was reported to be in critical, but stable condition after the shooting on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan just after 2:00 a.m. The Jets confirmed that Boyd was the victim identified in the shooting.
