Jelly Roll is embracing a whole new look.
Weeks before his 41st birthday, the "Halfway to Hell" singer decided to go bare-faced for the first time in at least a decade.
Wife Bunnie Xo documented the journey for their fans in a Nov. 13 Instagram Reel.
"I have been with my husband for going on 10 years now. I have never seen this man without his facial hair. And you guys know as women that we get catfished. Because we don't know what the hell is under there," she joked.
"My husband, in honor of his shoot that he did today, is going to shave off his beard completely because now that he's also skinny, look at that freaking jawline! We want to see that jawline, right, ladies?"
The podcaster briefly showed her husband taking an electric razor to his facial hair, which appeared to be trimmed down, before keeping the camera off him and instead showing her reactions to his transformation.
After he showed her his goatee, she reacted with delighted shock and said, "Oh, my gosh, baby, it looks really good!"
Bunnie was more tempered when it came to the full shave. She said: "The goatee, the mustache, it was fire. The naked face – it's not terrible."
Though she kept Jelly's face off-camera, she promised in a comment that her husband will "show y’all when he’s ready" to reveal his transformation.
This isn't the only way the Grammy-nominated singer has been changing. Jelly Roll has been working on his physique since 2022; through dietary changes and exercise, he has shed more than 200 pounds from a starting weight of around 540 pounds.
"I'm going to be under 300 pounds for the first time since middle school. ... We're talking about, literally, 30 years," he said of his goal weight on the podcast "What's Your Story? With Steph McMahon" in July, ahead his August WWE SummerSlam appearance.
"It's interfering with me and my daily functions. It's not even an aesthetic thing. ... I'm just hanging too much," he said, though he acknowledged that feeling good about his physique will be "a big bonus."
"I don't think I want to see myself getting really jacked," said Jelly, who has been training to run a half-marathon. "Maybe later, that's something I want to do later."
He added, "But when you spend your whole life being morbidly obese or really fat, your first instinct ain't 'I want to be big.' I want to get as small as I can possibly be."
His wife of nearly a decade has also been working on her fitness, sharing in a Nov. 16 Instagram story that she'd been "training for 34 weeks straight" and "hit my lowest weight today in a year & a half."
