A Michigan legacy is on his way to Ann Arbor.
Tommy Carr, the grandson of Michigan football national championship winning coach Lloyd Carr, has flipped his commitment to the Wolverines . He was previously pledged to Miami (Ohio).
Carr is the younger brother of C.J. Carr, who is in his first-year starting QB for Notre Dame and has the Fighting Irish battling for a spot in the College Football Playoff. His father, Jason Carr, also played quarterback for Michigan.
Tommy Carr threw for 2,431 yards and 31 touchdowns with just three interceptions in the regular season for Saline. He also ran for seven touchdowns to lead the Hornets to an 8-1 regular season record and a 10-2 overall finish before they fell to powerhouse Cass Tech, 42-28, in a playoff game on Friday.
