On November 15, Ryan Coogler spoke at Deadline ’s Contenders Film: Los Angeles event, where he was asked about the possibility of a third Black Panther film. According to the director, it’s not just a possibility: he’s working on it right now.

“Yeah, we’re working on it hard,” Coogler said. “It’s my next movie.”
