CINCINNATI, Ohio — For the first time since acquiring Joe Flacco prior to Week 6, the Bengals did not play well on offense as they were blown out in Pittsburgh by the Steelers, 34-12 .
Flacco completed 23 of 40 passes in the loss for 199 yards and a touchdown, but he threw a pick-six to Steelers safety Kyle Dugger. The Steelers defense outscored the Bengals offense, 14-12.
In his postgame press conference, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor didn’t mince words about what went wrong.
“I mean, their defense did a great job. You have to give them credit,” Taylor acknowledged to reporters after the game.
