NEW ORLEANS — Police have opened an investigation after skeletal remains were found in New Orleans’ St. Roch neighborhood on Saturday.
Officers responded to reports of human remains discovered in the 2300 block of Franklin Avenue shortly before 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police have not confirmed the person’s age, sex or ethnicity. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office was at the scene to conduct further examinations.
