A motorcyclist was critically injured during a crash with a motor vehicle in Bridgeport on Sunday.

Patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Main Street and Goldenrod Avenue around 11 a.m. on Sunday on the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a four-door sedan and motorcycle, according to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police Department .

Medics and Bridgeport firefighters quickly responded to the crash scene and rendered medical aid to the motorcycle operator. The operator, a 35-year-old woman from Bridgeport, was transported to a nearby hospital where she was listed in critical but stable condition, Gilleran said.
