Event organizers say they've not received any indication from either city government where they plan to hold warming stations this winter.

MOORHEAD, MN (KVRR) – With the cold weather drawing nearer, it’s becoming increasingly more important for folks in need to have proper winter gear – especially with a lot of uncertainty regarding warming stations.

The Fargo-Moorhead Mutual Aid & Direct Action Network held a Winter Clothing Drive at the Moorhead Public Library on Saturday.

Organizers collected hundreds of socks, mittens, coats, hand warmers, and other essentials.

Those working the event say they were heartened by the number of people who came to give.
