PEMISCOT COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - Three men are now facing criminal charges in connection with the death of a missing Portageville teen.

Kaniah Jennings, 18, was reported missing on Monday, November 3. Her body was found in rural Pemiscot County on Friday, Nov. 14.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), an autopsy has been scheduled through the St. Francois County Coroner’s Office.

On Saturday, Nov. 15, the three men who were previously arrested on separate charges not directly related to her disappearance are now formally charged in connection with her murder:

Kennan Peoples, 34, of Hayti:

First-degree murder

First-degree kidnapping
