PITTSBURGH -- Jalen Ramsey was ejected from the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 34-12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals for throwing a punch, but it appears he retaliated to Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase’s actions.
Ramsey and Chase received offsetting unsportsmanlike conduct penalties after jawing with each other throughout the game and then grabbing each other’s facemasks. However, during the break Ramsey threw a punch, but he alleged that Chase spit on him first.
In Ramsey’s recollection, on the first play the two got offsetting penalties, Chase tried to crack block him. Once they got up off the ground, Chase jawed at him and grabbed his mouthpiece off his facemask. 125
