PHOENIX (AZFamily) — New details are providing context to what may have led up to a shooting that almost killed a man at a west Phoenix apartment earlier this month.
Police say that 23-year-old David Jones is facing numerous charges for allegedly attempting to kill his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.
During Jones’ initial court appearance, prosecutors said the suspect still poses a great risk to the community and victims in this case.
Although the new boyfriend has survived his injuries, he still remains in critical condition. Prosecutors also said the ex-girlfriend shares a 16-month-old with the suspect.
