The Kansas City Chiefs are back in action this Sunday for a huge divisional showdown against the Denver Broncos at 4:25 p.m., but star QB Patrick Mahomes didn’t miss out on the college football action over the weekend.

During the Chiefs’ bye week, Mahomes attended the top-25 matchup between the BYU Cougars and his alma mater, the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who came out on top in Lubbock, Texas.

Mahomes served as “College GameDay’s” celebrity guest picker and publicly endorsed one player for a trip to New York for the Heisman Trophy: Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez.
