The injury list for the Detroit Lions is growing.
The Lions will be taking on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, with an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff televised on NBC. The Eagles feature a relatively healthy team as they host a Lions team banged up on both sides of the ball.
The newest addition to Detroit's injured reserve list is tight end Sam LaPorta , who was placed on IR on Saturday with a back injury and will miss at least the next four games.
