Anthony Roy led all scorers with 15 points in his debut following an injury and helped Oklahoma State notch an 85-69 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sunday afternoon at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The Cowboys (4-0) are 13-0 all-time against the Islanders (1-4), including an 11-0 mark at home, dominating in the second half on their way to the win. They hit 16 of 28 shots (57.1%) and 12 of 14 free throws in the final 20 minutes.
Vyctorius Miller finished with 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting while Leftteris Mantzoukas recorded a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds for Oklahoma State. Andrija Vukovic added 10 points as well.
Facing their second consecutive Big 12 opponent, the Islanders played tough throughout but had only one player in double figures as Nick Shogbonyo scored 13.
