HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. (WCJB) - Multiple agencies responded to a brush fire in High Springs.
Officials with the High Springs Fire Department told TV20 the fire was a result of an escaped pile burn from Saturday night.
Structures were threatened at the height of the fire but were spared thanks to fast containment efforts by responding agencies.
Just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday, the fire was contained to 3.8 acres according to the Florida Forest Service.
No injuries were reported.
