Kris Boyd is in critical condition after being shot over the weekend.

The 29-year-old football player, who is currently signed to the New York Jets, was involved in a shooting following a dispute in the very early hours of Sunday morning (November 16), according to New York Post .

Kris was reportedly shot in the abdomen shortly after 2am outside Sei Less restaurant in New York City and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital.

The Post reports that Kris was in and out of consciousness before being rushed to the hospital, where he is in “critical but stable condition.”

A rep for the NY Jets shared, “We are aware of the situation involving Kris Boyd and will have no further comment at this time.”
