It had been more than two months since we’ve had Penn State in-house players of the game following a Nittany Lions win.
With the Lions snapping their six-game losing streak at Michigan State on Saturday, interim coach Terry Smith and Co. highlighted their top standouts on Sunday .
Senior running back Kaytron Allen was named the offensive player of the game, while senior defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton took home both defensive and special teams honors.
Penn State defeated Michigan State, 28-10.
Allen had a career day in the win. He rushed 25 times for 181 yards, averaging 7.2 yards per carry, with two touchdowns. The performance was his third triple-digit output of the year, and it brought him on the brink of Penn State history.
