Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett made quite an impact on Sunday.
Brissett, despite suffering the loss, finished 47-of-57 for 452 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions on his way to setting a new NFL record for completions in a single regular season game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Jared Goff and Drew Bledsoe were tied for the previous record (45), with the former setting his mark on Sept. 29, 2019 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the latter setting his on Nov. 13, 1994 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Brissett, of course, becomes one of the league’s unlikeliest record holders, setting the new mark after stints with the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Washington Commanders and Cardinals.
