LEHIGHTON, Pa. — It was a Sunday afternoon spent honoring those who've served in Carbon County .
Hundreds of marchers and onlookers took to the parade route, which ran through Lehighton.
Put on by the Carbon County Veteran Council and the Department of Veterans Affairs, the parade went off without a hitch this afternoon, after being delayed a week due to weather.
Jennifer Versuk, from Lehighton, said, "It's not too terrible, the wind's a little brutal, but besides that it's fine."
Awards for best appearing color guard, band, and float were handed out as part of the Veterans Day.
