A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Sunday at 8:10 p.m. for snow showers until 9 p.m. for Schoharie and Schenectady counties.

"At 8:09 p.m., an area of heavy snow showers was near Richmondville, or near Cobleskill moving east southeast at 45 MPH," explains the weather service.

This includes Interstate 88 between exits 20 and 23.

Expect snow showers in the following locations:

Cobleskill and Richmondville around 8:15 p.m.

Middleburgh and Schoharie around 8:20 p.m.

The weather service states, "Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination."
