A fair majority of the NFL fans have a sympathetic heart for the Detroit Lions — a team that’s never appeared in a Super Bowl. In recent seasons, the franchise’s luck has changed thanks to the solution found in the equation made up of head coach Dan Campbell and quarterback Jared Goff (plus a generous amount of first-round selections). Campbell continues to impress as a head coach who also knows how to scout coordinator and assistant coaching talent.
The 6-3 Lions appear headed for another playoff run (even if they’re currently staring up at the Chicago Bears), and tonight’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles could tell folks a lot about their chances in January and beyond.
