As the mayor-elect, Mary Sheffield doesn't need to unveil media-attention-grabbing plans to revitalize the city. She needs to simply follow through on what outgoing Mayor Mike Duggan's administration was doing to address the core issue of inequality.

There are two roads to choose from: real opportunity for all Detroiters that will result in major improvement of quality of life, or access for the prominent few who have been at the table of opportunity all along, raking in millions.
