Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown hasn’t hidden his frustration with his role in Philadelphia’s offense. Now, owner Jeffery Lurie is getting involved.
According to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio, Lurie and Brown met in a “highly unusual” meeting during practice last week to hash out the star’s social media complaints .
Paolantonio said that the meeting was facilitated by team security chief Dom DiSandro, who spoke to Lurie on the sideline during Thursday’s practice and waved Brown over.
In that meeting, which Paolantonio described as “amicable,” Brown pledged to tone it down on the number of social media references he has made to the team’s offense.
