The sudden death of record-breaking Australian Paralympian Paige Greco has left the cycling community reeling after the 28-year-old suffered a medical episode at home.
South Australian authorities confirmed on November 16 that the gold medallist had died in her Adelaide home.
Ms Greco's mother Natalie said she was devastated by the loss, but was "incredibly proud" of her daughter.
"Paige meant everything to us. Her kindness, her determination and her warmth touched our family every single day," she said.
"She brought so much joy and pride into our lives, and the pain of her passing is something we will carry forever.
"As a family, we are deeply grateful for the support shown by so many people connected to Paige, including her teammates and friends.
