Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer for men in Australia , after skin cancer, and the second most common cause of cancer death in the UK, according to Cancer Research UK.

Professor Nikhil Vasdev is a consultant urological surgeon at the East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust, the chairman of robotic surgery at the University of Hertfordshire, and a member of the Prostate Cancer UK National Clinical Advisory Group.
