Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem handed out $10,000 bonus checks on Saturday evening to Transportation Security Administration officers at Boston Logan Airport who did not miss a shift during the 43-day government shutdown .

Over 270 Boston TSA officers had perfect attendance in the face of economic uncertainty, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Noem had announced last week that select TSA officers nationwide would be receiving a bonus in appreciation for their dedication and commitment to keeping America safe.
