LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A local Christmas tree farm is helping families find the perfect tree for the holidays, with sales already exceeding 600 trees since September.

Neiman’s Christmas Tree Farm owner Thomas Neiman has been involved in the Christmas tree business since age four and says growing trees is in his blood.

“I can’t imagine doing something else. It’s in my blood. It’s what the family,” Neiman said.

The farm had about 1,000 trees available for purchase this year, with more than half already sold. However, Neiman expects this year will not match the farm’s previous record banner year.

“We think the climate is going to be good, but we don’t think it’s going to be overwhelming,” Neiman said.
