Paul George could make his season debut on Monday night against the Clippers. The 76ers might well need him.

George was listed as questionable for the first time in the 76ers’ Sunday injury report ahead of Monday’s visit from George’s former team. With Kelly Oubre out with a left knee ligament sprain, George’s presence would be a salve for a truncated rotation.

George has been practicing fully since mid-October. Last week, the club said he was going through “the final stage of his return to play plan” by strengthening the quadriceps in the left leg that had arthroscopic surgery in July.

George, signed as a free agent from the Clippers in the summer of 2024, played only 41 games in 2024-25.
